The Georgia Aquarium and Hampton University through NHAA-Atlanta have established an internship program that allows selected Hampton University students who are majoring in Marine and Environmental Science to complete 12-week paid summer internships at the Aquarium. One internship opportunity is available in each of the four program areas: Aquatic Sustainability, Coral Rescue Bank, Global Ocean Policy and Research, and Conservation. We are extremely proud of our inaugural interns, PaShun Hawkins and Derrick Richardson. Both are graduates of the Class of 2023 and will be pursuing degrees at UCLA in the Fall.
